THOMAS CRAWLEY
Thomas Crawley joined Brookside Gardens’ staff in October 2022 as a Horticulturist. His responsibilities include the Idea Garden, Rock Garden, Children's Garden, Woodland Walk, Conservatory Beds, Rain Garden, and Butterfly Walk. Thomas most recently worked as a Gardener at the U.S. Botanic Garden. Before that he worked as a gardener at the U.S. Supreme Court and Wolf Trap National Park. Thomas has a BFA in Communication Arts and Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. He later earned an MS in Agricultural Life Science and a Graduate Certificate in Natural Resource Management from Virginia Tech. Thomas is constantly experimenting in the garden balancing influences from ecology and visual design.
