Despite their exotic beauty and their popularity with skilled horticulture enthusiasts, not all orchids are demanding or difficult to grow.  Many orchids can be grown in average in-house conditions, including Phalaenopsis, and Cattleytonia.  This event is geared not only to experienced orchid growers but also to beginners who would like to learn to grow orchids.  The vendors at the sale will have a number of varieties suitable for novices interested in introducing orchids into their homes and can provide information on cultural requirements and a full range of orchid growing supplies.
